Banana Republic Factory Polka Dot Blazer-4

Happy hump day everyone! Today I’m wearing my Banana Republic factory polka dot blazer (see fitting room post here) with my favorite white AG jeans. It’s obvious that I have a serious polka dot obsession and couldn’t resist this blazer. I’ve been wanting a navy polk dot blazer for years now and I finally check it off my list! I got this blazer for 50% off plus an additional 10% off. $55 isn’t a bad price for a blazer that fits without any alterations.

Measurements: shoulders 14″, armpit 15″, sleeves 18.5″, total length 22″

The material is 55% linen and 45% cotton. I thought I was going to have an issue with it being wrinkly but it wasn’t bad. The only part that got a bit wrinkly were the sleeves but that happens with most of my blazers.

I like the fit and under the collar is a pop of pink paisley which I clearly didn’t take a photo of.

Shopping tip: If you don’t live near a Banana Republic Factory and live in the US, you can order it over the phone have it shipped to you for $5. If you are in store and have a AAA card, you get and extra 10% off (stackable with in store promos but isn’t valid with other coupons).

I was really excited about both dresses but am left a bit disappointed. The Polka Dot Pleat Front Dress is big on me in the waist (have it clipped back) and the belt is extra large. The material felt cheap and the quality didn’t justify the price. I love the style and print but not sure if I’ll keep it. The Polka Dot Maxi is navy not black and was okay. It’s very comfy but the length only fit me with very tall wedge (can’t wear flats with it). I wish the dots were smaller.

This trellis lace skirt is very pretty but runs large in the waist. I had to take in the waist and sides. I like that it has a twist to your typical lace skirt. Would recommend.
