Fitting Room Reviews: Loft New Arrivals

It has been so long since I’ve done a fitting room post! It’s not easy getting to the mall to try stuff on when you have a newborn. Being a new mom, I’m still trying to find balance and get back in the swing of things. Let me tell ya, it is NOT easy! Major kudos to all the mommies out there! I want to make sure I enjoy Milan as much as I possibly can because time goes by so fast…it already has gone by too fast. I can’t believe she’ll be three months next week! Okay enough of my rambling, I stopped by Loft after Milan’s check up yesterday and the selection was very slim. There was literally nothing for me to try on so I grabbed whatever I could.

Loft has brought back this gorgeous lace tee! Comes in two colors (lilac shadow and whisper white – see below). Based on my review last year (see HERE , sizing runs generous so I’d recommend sizing down unless you like a looser fit. You’ll definitely need to add a cami underneath – a bit disappointed that it doesn’t come with one however I prefer wearing a tank like THIS ONE so your bra strap doesn’t show. I never ended up getting this tee last year because I was expecting and didn’t know how long I would be able to fit in it. I definitely plan on picking it up this time around!

I’m loving this black and white polka dot peplum blouse! I usually don’t wear too much black but this one is super cute. Sizing runs large so I would recommend sizing down. I’m wearing XXSP and it’s still too big even post partum. I’m not a big fan of the button tab cuffs – I can never seem to get them to stay put especially with this type of polyester material. I wish this blouse came in a white with black polka dots instead but I would still recommend. Petite sizes aren’t available online yet but I posted the style number above. Super comfy and would look amazing with white jeans and black lace up flats.

I was not expecting to like this floral tunic but after I put it on, it’s quite nice! The print has a vintage vibe and it’s very comfortable. I’m all about comfort these days! Sizing runs true to size. I’m trying on XXSP and it fit me perfectly. I only found regular sizes online so petites may only be available in stores (see style # above). I’ll update this post once I see it pop up in petites. This blouse also has the button tab cuffs but I think it looks much better with the sleeves rolled down. Would recommend.

Eyelet day dress (00P, buy HERE) // Ferragamo vara pumps (buy HERE)

I love the color of this eyelet day dress but didn’t love how it fit on me. My chest is bigger now since I’m nursing so top portion makes me look super wide. I think this would be better suited for someone with a small chest. It runs true to size and was happy the length wasn’t too short. Would recommend.

I grabbed this top at the last minute and am so glad I did! I’m trying on XSP (couldn’t find XXSP). I love the flutter sleeves – so cute and feminine. This would be great for Summer with some cute shorts, sandals and a floppy hat.

I’m also trying on these modern skinny jeans. Unfortunately I grabbed the regular size and was too lazy to go back and find the petite size. This explains why I have them rolled up super thick. I have several pairs of petite modern skinny jeans and LOVE them. It seems like they have changed the material a bit over the years but I still like the fit. Would recommend them!

I have my eye on this pleated flare dress and this edged cotton sweater (love the soft pink). I’m so bummed these striped ankle tie espadrilles don’t come in my size. Why would you not make them in size 5? Well played Loft..well played.
