Likes/Dislikes: If you’re looking for a nice quality trench but don’t want to pay Burberry prices, this is a GREAT option at an amazing price!  I was really impressed at the quality and detailing.  I was not expecting it to be this nice. This trench has all the iconic, classic details (belted cuffs, epaulets, notch collar, storm flap) and I love the contrast faux leather piping.  This trench is offered in regular and petite sizes!  The sand color is just the right shade and it’s also available in black.  I couldn’t find any negative things to report (that’s a great sign).

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size.  I’m wearing XS Petite and it fits me really nicely.  The sleeves are just slightly long but if you don’t want to pay for alterations, you can most definitely get away with it. The overall length hits me right at the knees which works great for wearing dresses or skirts underneath.

Price: sale price $149.90, after sale $249 (this is a GREAT DEAL for a classic trench coat)

Verdict: Love and would recommend!

Likes/Dislikes: This swing peacoat is adorable!  I don’t have any coats in this color and Halogen is one of my favorite brands at Nordstrom so I had high hopes for this peacoat.  I adore the classic and swingy cut.  It’s the perfect style and length for petites. I loved everything except the raw edge detailing and scuba fabric.  I usually don’t mind scuba material for skirts and dresses but this didn’t feel right for this particular jacket.  I wish they would have made this in a light wool and offered it in other colors.

Sizing:  Sizing runs true to size for Halogen items.  I’m wearing XXSP and it fits perfectly – even in the arms!  If you’re similar in size to me, you won’t need to do any alterations.

Price: sale price $89.90, after sale $148

Verdict: I like it, would recommend as long as you don’t mind the raw edges and scuba material.

Likes/Dislikes: Anything with ruffles, I’m pretty much sold.  I fell in love with this top but was disappointed that the color was more of green instead of chartreuse. I can see this looking chic tucked in a pencil skirt and heels for work.  You can even layer it with a cardigan to cover up your arms.  It comes in four colors – merlot and dark green would be gorgeous for Fall.

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size.  I’m wearing XS and it fits decent. Bobeau items are always hit or miss for me. Some items run super big while others run small.

Price: sale price $37.90, after sale $58

Verdict: Would recommend.

Likes/Dislikes: I’ve been living in button-up shirts for nursing so I clearly had to order this to try.  It’s the most comfortable shirt ever!  It didn’t look like anything special straight out of the package but when I tried it on, I was quite pleased.  This shirt comes in regular and petite sizes.  The only downside I could find are the metal buttons.  I wish they would have put regular buttons instead.  Other than that, it’s a very comfortable denim shirt and I can see this being worn a lot.

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size.  I’m wearing XXSP and it fits perfectly in all areas.

Verdict: I like it and would recommend!

Likes/Dislikes: I’m obsessed with capes and ponchos for Fall.  They are so easy and comfortable and great for post partum (no sucking in needed).  I love the soft grey color and the material is very soft.  As nice as it is, I didn’t like it on me.  I think it would look much better on someone taller.

Sizing: Sizing runs large.  I’m wearing XSP and it was pretty big on me.  I would recommend sizing down.

Price: sale price $39.90, *not sure of price after the sale since it’s currently sold out

Verdict: Cute but not for me, would recommend.

Likes/Dislikes: I was really excited when I saw these were part of the sale and my size was still available.  Unfortunately these were a HUGE disappointment. I’m not sure why it’s so popular.  I love the equestrian inspired style and cognac color (also available in black).  I practically live in boots during the Fall/Winter months so I’m always looking for cute and comfortable flat boots to wear.  The leather is very stiff and looks really cheap (almost looks like pleather) from the front angle.  I was very underwhelmed and unimpressed.  Even at the sale price, these are not justifiable.

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size.  I was happy to see these are offered in sizes 4-13.  The shaft height measures 17″ (not petite friendly) and the the calf circumference was way too big – even with jeans on.

Price: sale price $299.90, after sale $495

Verdict: Disappointed and would NOT recommend. Returning.

Likes/Dislikes: I keep saying so many items are my favorite but this one is another favorite (lol).  Do I really need another lace top?  No but this one is adorable.  I love the contrast piping, tied bow and eyelash lace hem.  You can wear it tucked in a pencil skirt or wear it un-tucked with jeans.  The only downside is the price.  Even at the current sales price, it’s very expensive for a sleeveless lace top.

Sizing: Sizing runs small!  Online it says that petite sizes run true to size but I didn’t find this to be the case.  I’m wearing XXSP and the arm holes are slightly tight.  If you have a larger chest, I’d recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.

Verdict: Love and would recommend!

V-neck merino wool cardigan

Likes/Dislikes: I have a million cardigans but I love this one so much!  It comes in 12 different colors and is available in regular and petite sizes.  It reminds me of my Loft boyfriend cardigans from many years ago.  The quality is very nice and the length is great to wear with both jeans/leggings and skirts.

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size. I’m wearing XXSP.

Price: sale price $49.90, after sale $78 (kind of pricey for a cardigan but worth it)

Verdict: Love and would recommend. Also got it in Yellow Treasure.

Likes/Dislikes:  When I first got this leather jacket, I got super excited. It is SO buttery soft.  Probably the softest leather I’ve ever felt!  I really like the draped collar and simple style however I’m not a fan of knit panelling on the sides and undersleeves.  I didn’t see this when I placed my order.  I also thought the color looked more of a blush pink online but in person, it’s a very light sand color.

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size.  I’m wearing XXSP. It fits really nicely and the sleeve length is perfect on me.

Price: sale price $218.90, after sale $329

Verdict: Cute but not for me, ordered THIS to try instead.

Likes/Dislikes:  This skirt is one of my favorite purchases!  From the cottony soft embroidered lace, scalloped hem and pink/black color combo, I love everything about it!  I didn’t have time to style it properly but it would look so nice with a black blouse and black pumps.

Sizing: Sizing runs true to size.  I’m wearing 00P and it fits me perfectly.

Verdict: Love and would recommend!

Vince Camuto Janil Sandal // Skinny jeans

Likes/Dislikes:  These are by far the MOST comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned.  I’ve already worn them several times and my feet are very happy.  I have extremely picky feet so when I say these are comfortable, I mean it!  You can walk in them all day without any pinching or blisters.  These sandals are available in two colors – cashmere and deep rust.  I’m wearing deep rust and it goes with everything.  I can see this on heavy rotation all Summer long and even into early Fall days.  I love the braided trim and structural stacked heel.

Sizing: Sizing runs small.  I’m wearing size 5 and it fits me perfectly which usually indicates the shoe runs on the smaller side since I’m a true size 4.5-5.  I would recommend sizing up if you are unsure for a more comfortable fit.  The heel height is 4″ but has a 1/2″ platform so technically, it’s a 3.5″ heel – very easy to walk in. These are available in sizes 4-13.

Price: sale price $99.90, after sale $139.95

Verdict: Love and would recommend!
