You know I’m obsessed with drapey silhouettes and this trench coat is my new favorite! My love for outerwear would make you think I live in a colder state but I don’t (lol). This is the perfect coat for mild temperatures and will transition nicely right into Spring.
Sizing runs true to size and I’m happy to report it’s petite friendly. I’m wearing XS and it fits me nicely. The sleeves are slightly too long (about 1″ for me) but it’s an easy fix. Luckily the belt cuffs were sewn higher than usual so all you need to do is take up the sleeves (no need to remove and re-attach the belt cuffs). Hope this makes sense. The quality is VERY nice and looks way more expensive than it is. I love the draping and and the details are on point. The color is a blue-ish grey and the perfect neutral color. You can never go wrong with grey!
This is my fifth coat from Chicwish and I love them all. Great quality, petite friendly and affordable – can’t beat that! I have so many great pieces from them and THIS OUTFIT was my favorite from 2016. See my some other favorite Chicwish outfits HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. These are a few items I own and would recommend:
I also recently got THIS ONE and it fits perfectly with no alterations. Will review soon. 🙂
I know I’ve posted and talked about this tweed coat a million times but in case you’re new to the blog, this is a great option for petites. Fits perfectly with no alterations. It runs small so I’d recommend sizing up if you plan on layering. If I had to pick my top three favorite coats, it would be THIS, THIS and THIS.
