I’m all about comfort these days. The more comfortable, the better. You do not have to compromise style when you want something that doesn’t require sucking in, tucking this and adjusting that. I love tunic sweaters with leggings and boots. This combo is so easy and doesn’t require much effort. I don’t have time to fuss about my outfits anymore so when I find an item that I can throw on and go, I’m all for it.
This ruffled cuff tunic is my new favorite sweater! When I first placed my order, I thought there was NO WAY the sleeves would fit especially with the ruffled cuff detail but wanted to try it anyway. I’m so glad I did! Even with petite sizing, sometimes the sleeves are way too long. I was so happy when this arrived and upon trying it on, I may or may not have done a happy dance around the house (lol). Anyone with short arms knows what I’m talking about. The struggle is real. #shortgirlproblems
Sizing runs true to size except I’d say the sleeves run on the shorter side. If you have regular or longer arms, this will probably end up to be 3/4″ sleeves which I think it could still work. I’m wearing size XS and it’s a bit roomy however I like it this way. Luckily the sleeves are perfect! The overall length is just right and I love that the back is longer than the front. This allows you to cover up your butt when wearing leggings. The material is 100% cotton (hooray!). Why is this such a big deal? Because these days, it seems like most sweaters are made out of acrylic or polyester. Nothing wrong with either but 100% cotton is just an added bonus. If gray is too drab for you, this sweater comes in three other colors. I love it and would highly recommend!
Back in the day (pre-baby days), I used to love tucking in everything. Now, this mama does not have time for anything that requires any additional effort (lol). Tunic sweaters are simple and easy to wear. It allows you to feel comfortable yet still look put together. Here are some other tunic sweater options:
Ruffle cuff tunic sweater (XS) // Black legggings // Stuart Weitzman OTK boots (topo suede) // Tory Burch Thea satchel (similar HERE) // Forever 21 hat (old, similar HERE) // c/o Baublebar necklace (similar HERE or HERE) // kate spade faux pearl earrings (similar HERE) // Pink nail polish // YSL lipstick in fetish pink
There you have it ladies! You can look stylish and comfortable at the same time – it is possible! But then again, anything is possible with leggings (lol). Get yourself this tunic sweater and you’ll thank me later. For petite gals, this sweater goes to show you that you don’t always have to shop in the petite section to find petite friendly options. 🙂
