Due to the vanity sizing Loft has going on this year, everything looks awful on me. Hopefully these reviews will help – just try to look past the poor fit.

I tried this sweater on for fun because you know I can’t resist a striped sweater (lol). Unfortunately my Loft didn’t have any petite sizes in store however it is available online. Comes in two different colors – I prefer the fresh navy personally but the coral red is fun and different. Love the lace up side details. The material is 100% cotton and very soft. Debating if I should get the XXSP in fresh navy…do I really need another striped sweater? No but it’s hard to say no (lol). I’m trying on XS regular and seems to run true to size. I think the petite sizing would look much better. Would recommend.

I had high hopes for this but sizing runs large and very boxy. I like the details but it didn’t do it for me. I think it would look much better if it fit properly. You can wear this to work or casually with jeans and shorts. I would recommend it but size down if possible.

This is one of the better fitting items I tried on. I like the concept of the lace sleeves and button back however the material is very thin and semi-sheer. It also feels like it would snag easily too which is a big no no for me. I think there are better tops so I’d pass on this one.

OMG. The fit on this dress makes me look like I’m expecting! Sizing runs extremely generous and the dress has NO shape whatsoever. The color is very pretty but I think there are better lace dresses out there. I was very disappointed with this one. Come on Loft – get your sizing right! Passed.

I’m torn about the print of this dress. I can’t decide if I love or hate it. Flounce dresses rarely look good on me and this confirms that I am not meant for this style. Sizing runs very big and just looks wrong. I think it could potentially be cute on someone taller. It wasn’t my cup of tea – passed.

How do you get navy and lace wrong? This dress is horrible on me! It has no shape, runs very wide and boxy. I am shocked it got some great reviews online. Is it me? What the heck?! Passed.

I only tried this dress on because it’s nursing friendly. I’m not loving the print – not sure what Loft has going on this season with all the different prints but I’m not a fan. This dress fit decent but only because of the waist tie. I’d remove it and wear it with a cute belt instead. Sizing runs true to size and I’m trying on XXPS. Didn’t love it – passed.
Here are some other items that look like they have potential. Clearly everything I tried on was a bust for me. If you need a classic denim jacket, this one looks promising. I have one from a few years ago and love it. I’m thinking about getting these petite modern skinny ankle jeans – looks like they have the perfect inseam (25″) for gals with short legs. I have several pair of Loft jeans from years ago and I love them!
Loft Sale Picks
You know I’m a huge fan of Loft and have been for many many years but seriously, this sizing situation has to stop! The only items I’ve kept recently is this twill utility jacket (see review HERE), striped pleated skirt and this pocket scalloped skirt. Other than that, I haven’t really all that excited about the new prints and styles. 🙁

I am totally with you with the sizing at the loft. They really need to get it right and change their vanity sizing. I had ordered their pink dress and I was very disappointed that a size 2 fit me huge and it was shapeless. I am a size 4, but i ordered a smaller size knowing that their sizes run big. I did buy the flowery dress, and I already wore it with a jean jacket, it is cute for a day out with the kids. But it is made of rayon and has the potential of shrinking, agghhh! I didn’t realize this before. I ended up getting 3 dresses at Banana Republic, much more shapely, better quality, the sizing was right, and gorgeous dresses. BR is definitely more expensive then the Loft even with 50 percent off, but sometimes it is worth paying the extra price for better clothes.
Hi Idalia! Okay good to know I’m not the only one that is thinks they need to get their sizing together. It’s so frustrating. I completely agree about BR. Thank goodness BR has reverted back to their cute styles – they went a little off track for a while before. I do love their quality and you def get what you pay for!
