This week was a tough one for me. Milan got sick and work/life has been so busy that I can’t even think straight. Luckily she is feeling better and back to her sparky self! If you’re doing some Mother’s Day shopping, lots of good sales going on. Get 40% off three full priced items at Ann Taylor (use code: YOUPICK). I adore this polka dot bow sleeve top, this gingham ruffle shell and this faux wrap knit dress (looks very flattering). Loft is having 40% off everything (use code: SUNNY) and an extra 60% off select sale styles. Love this eyelet stripe shift skirt and this eyelet sweater tank. See my recent fitting room reviews HERE. Get 40% off four items or more at J.Crew Factory (want this cami so bad). Get up to 40% off select styles (no code needed) at Banana Republic. Last but not least, earn triple points at Nordstrom from May 2-6. This is a great time to rack up those points to get rewards! Just ordered this ruffle polka dot wrap dress.
Top: J.Crew Factory scalloped cami (size 00) | Skirt: c/o Pleated bow skirt (size XS, black color on me HERE) | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik BB pumps | Necklace: c/o Kendra Scott | Earrings: c/o Kendra Scott | Rug: NuLoom | Chair: Pink tufted accent chair | Pillow: Gold sequin bow pillow
I love this pleated bow skirt so much that I had to have it in two colors (see black color HERE). Sizing runs small – I’m wearing XS. The length hits right above the knees so it’s not too short. I can’t believe it’s only $14! The quality is decent given the price tag – it’s similar to something you would get at Forever 21. If you’re hesitant about ordering from this company, ready my honest review and experiences HERE. I would advise sticking to my recommendations or buy at your own risk.
Top Row (with sunglasses): Loft eyelet peplum top + Chanel sunnies | c/o Navy knit cami top (one size) + ModCloth heart sunglasses | Anthropologie lace top (old, similar HERE) + kate spade (similar HERE) | Loft outlet faux pearl necklace (similar HERE)
Skirt: c/o ModCloth sage pleated skirt (size XXS, coral color HERE) | Top: Ann Taylor (old, similar HERE) | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik BB pumps | Rug: NuLoom | Chair: Pink tufted accent chair | Pillow: Gold sequin bow pillow
How pretty is this sage pleated skirt? I’ve always been a sucker for pleated skirts and this one is gorgeous! Sizing runs VERY small so I’d recommend sizing up 1-2 sizes. I’m wearing XXS and can barely breathe. The length is perfect and requires no hemming! This would be a great skirt to wear to work. Also available in a pretty coral color HERE. Would highly recommend!
Remember my gingham skirt from THIS POST? It’s now on sale! I have my eye on this cute pineapple skirt (so fun) and it has pockets! Obviously both of these polka dot skirts HERE and HERE need to be in my life immediately (lol). ModCloth has the best skirts!
If you’re looking for a one piece bathing suit that won’t break the bank, this adorable white ruffled swimsuit is SO CUTE! It runs small and under $40. Quality is pretty good considering the price. I love the ruffle details – so cute. The white is NOT see through and there are removable soft cups gives small chested ladies some shaping and coverage. The coverage is moderate and almost full on me so it’s great to wear with kids around. Also comes in black – would recommend! The only thing I noticed was that if you have a shorter torso or small shoulders, the straps don’t always stay put but nothing like other bathing suits I own. Not a deal breaker at all.
