I hope you had a better weekend than I did. Miss Milan is sick (again). She went over 2.5 years without a single cold and now she’s gotten two in just a few weeks. Something is definitely going around. It’s seriously the worst when your baby is sick. I’m so used to her being full of life so it’s just heartbreaking. Praying for a speedy recovery. On another note, I couldn’t wait to share this adorable skirt! It’s petite friendly, requires no alterations and perfect for fall.
It’s very rare to find a skirt that fits this perfectly especially with all the vanity sizing going on with basically every retailer. I wasn’t expecting it to fit and basically ordered it with this plaid skirt as filler to get free shipping. I honestly didn’t think I would like it but as soon as it came in the mail, I loved it. It’s preppy with a vintage vibe. The colors are so pretty for fall and would look great with some brown over the knee boots. How cute are the front pockets?
Sizing runs small so I’d suggest sizing up if you are in between sizes. I’m wearing size XXS and it’s very fitted around the waist. The length could be too short if you are taller but it’s great for someone my height or shorter. You can pair it with tights and ankle booties if you live in colder climate.
In case you’re wondering, these Hunter Boots are big kids. I have several of the glossy pair from previous years but decided to get navy and green to twin with Milan. I’m wearing size 4 big kids which fits like a 5.5 and maybe even a small size 6. They are definitely loose on me but with thick socks, it’s doable. I like the shaft height – works great for my short legs.
