Believe it or not, this was my very first time ever going to a pumpkin patch. Is that crazy or what? I decided to go and scope it out before taking Milan. She’s going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to see her face. 🙂
Back to this cable knit poncho….omg I love it so much. I cannot get enough! I originally got the regular size version because there weren’t petite sizes available. See HERE to see how regular size fits on me. It fit well and I didn’t have any complaints. Obviously I would always prefer to have the petite size when available so I ordered it to compare.
Honestly, there’s not much difference. In full disclosure, I haven’t had time to lay them both flat to compare. Based on the photos, you can barely tell any difference at all however I felt like the petite size fit me better. Not sure how to explain it but sometimes I just go with my gut if I’m on the fence. If anything, it’s slightly shorter near the arms, a little less wide and a tiny bit shorter in length. Nothing substantial so either size could work. If you’re my size or smaller, get the petite size. If you’re taller than me (4′ 11.75″), then I’d suggest getting the regular size if you want a little bit more in length to wear over leggings. I would have been perfectly happy with the regular size had the petite size not become available. I love it and would highly recommend!

I love the poncho look but I don’t like extra fabric near my neck. Have you found any like with a mock turtleneck or boatneck for petites?
I haven’t but the fabric around the neck isn’t bulky and doesn’t bother me at all! In fact I love it!
