I’ve been having major insomnia this week!  I have no idea what the heck is happening…I guess I do know why.  It’s pretty evident that I’m under a severe amount of stress (as you know).  I was sleeping just fine and then this past Monday is when it all started.  I literally cannot fall asleep and end up just laying there until the morning.  THE WORST.  It feels like torture.  I’m so delirious and basically running on adrenaline at this point.  I asked for some natural remedies on Instagram and received a ton of great ideas.  Will attempt to try some sleepy time tea and possibly melatonin.  Praying I get a few hours of sleep.  Anyway, wanted to share some items I’m currently loving and some things on my wish list.  I recently got these candy pink Hunter Boots in big kids (size 4) and LOVE them.  I picked up a matching pair HERE for Miss Milan and she’s been wearing them non-stop even when it’s not raining. LOL  I also have these bow sandals, polka dot heels and  just ordered these pink sunglasses.  Wish me luck and cross your fingers I’ll be able to get some rest. XO

  1. Such cute spring items. I struggle with the same splessness and what works best for me is a good workout at the gym and during a stressful time, counseling is always helpful. If you talk it out with someone then your mind doesn’t do as much talking at night.

  2. I experienced very similar insomnia last year. My doctor prescribed a short term sleep aid, but I prefer not to use medication. Instead I turned all lights out around 10 and stopped looking at TV and devices. I took a warm bath and made some non caffeinated tea before bed and went to sleep on the sofa instead of in my room. This was because I started to associate my bed with sleeplessness and became stressed out by it, which would cause me to have a surge of adrenaline. I downloaded some audiobooks (The Handmaid’s Tale and Dickens—anything that required me to pay close attention to understand) and I would lie down and listen. I would inevitably pass out while trying to pay attention. A couple weeks of this, and my insomnia was resolved (not to mention getting to finish a few good books). I’m sorry to hear about all your troubles, but I hope you will have peace soon. My best to you and Milan.

knows what they’re discussing online. You definitely know how to bring a problem to light and make

  7. Aw, this was a really good post. Finding the time and actual
    effort to create a superb article… but what can I say… I
procrastinate a whole lot and don’t manage to get
    nearly anything done.
