A camel coat is a staple that you definitely need to add to your wardrobe if you haven’t already. It pairs with everything from jeans/pants to dresses and skirts. You can dress it up and wear it casually on the weekends with denim and a pair of flats.
Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing my usual size of 00 petite. I love the classic style and silhouette. It’s one of those items you will wear for years to come and it will never go out of style.
So many amazing new arrivals! I want everything. LOL

Annie I have been following you for a couple of years now. We are basically the exact same size and I have truly appreciated some of your tips regarding styling and fit. However I feel that after reading this latest post I must speak out. I understand that as an influencer you partner with different companies to promote their products but I feel at the same time it is only fair to the people who follow you that you are completely honest about the products you are recommending. I have been an Ann Taylor customer for decades and have always admired their timeless, classic styling and excellent quality of their product but I’m sad to say that the coat you are wearing in this post falls way short of excellent quality!! I was looking for a classic wool coat that fit my petite frame well and was horrified when this arrived and it was so synthetic and cheap looking, and had absolutely no weight to it!! I can honestly say it’s the biggest disappointment I have had in any Ann Taylor product and I posted a review on their website stating exactly this because I personally appreciate feedback from other customers. I ordered this coat after seeing it on the AT website but if I hadn’t seen it there and had just seen it on your post I would have ordered it anyway. I just think it’s unfair to misrepresent a product to people that have put trust in you. I truly hope you will choose to post this comment because it will restore my faith in your transparency.
Hi Kathy,
I’m sorry to hear about your experience and disappointment in the camel coat. I personally like the coat regardless of whether or not it is sponsored. I’ve been a huge fan of Ann Taylor years before I even began working with them so it’s a brand that I love, wear and trust in the quality. It’s disheartening to hear that you think I’m being dishonest about my feedback as I would never steer you guys intentionally wrong to make a few bucks. That’s not what has motivated me or currently motivates me to continue doing what I do. Money has never been a driving force behind my blog and it never will regardless of who I choose to partner up with. I also think everyone’s opinion is a matter of perspective and taste. With that being said, I absolutely value your feedback and appreciate it more than you know. 🙂
Kathy- I totally agree with your comment! The quality of the coat material is so disappointing. From the pictures it seems either the coat is pilling or its been washed a few times already and lost its shape. I am also a big fan of Ann Taylor and love most of their items (especially their lace tops) but this coat is such a miss. So easy for bloggers to rave about everything that is “c/o” to make a commission. I usually wait to read the reviews on the website to get a real opinion before making a purchase.
Hi Annie,
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. As I said in my previous comment, I have enjoyed your blog for the last two years and I have also been a loyal customer of Ann Taylor for decades. At times you have included clothing from inexpensive brands and you have been transparent about the quality. At least when we buy from these companies we know what to expect. For the most part I would say that Ann Taylor produces excellent quality clothing but I absolutely stand by my critique of this coat and am shocked that you can honestly say you like it and even put it down to a person’s perspective. This is not about preference for a style, colour or length, this is a cheaply made product offered at a price point and a brand name that represents higher quality!!
