Summer Outfits

There’s still time to get gifts if you’re still shopping!  Click HERE for my last minute gift ideas.  Ann Taylor is having 50% off PLUS an extra 10% off in stores only (use code: THATSAWRAP).  I adore this striped ruched sleep top and this off the shoulder cable sweater.  Get 50% off at Loft – no code needed.  This cascade open cardigan reminds me of one of my favorites from a few years ago.  You can still order select items at Nordstrom by Noon today to get rush delivery for Saturday or buy online and pick ip in store.  If you’ve ever wanted the Stuart Weitzman Highland over the knee boots, I found them HERE for 43% off!  Still obsessed with these plush sleep leggings and matching top pajamas – I would highly recommend them (see on me HERE).

This year has been such a blessing.  Milan learned how to walk, talk and her personality is hilarious.  This tiny little human who was only 4.5 lbs is now a whopping 23 lbs. and is spunkier than ever.  She’ll be turning two next month and it’s bitter sweet.  How blessed am I to be her mommy? I know it’s cliche but she really is the best thing that has happened to me.  She has taught me to be a better person and to appreciate the simplest things.  To watch her grow, learn and become this little person is just all surreal.  We are still dealing with her eczema….(sigh). Sweater: c/o ModCloth Charter school cardigan (size XXS) | Top: c/o ModCloth bird print sleeveless top (size XS) | Skirt: c/o ModCloth Tiger lilies navy midi skirt (size XXS)

Many say that when you’re petite, you cannot pull off a midi skirt.  I completely disagree!  Midi lengths (when done right) can be flattering on many shapes and sizes.  I used to love shorter hemlines and always thought that because I’m petite, I had to wear shorter lengths.  This isn’t always the case.  Longer hemlines can elongate your legs and even make you appear taller.  For the past several years, I’ve been loving midi lengths.  Yes this type of skirt can look frumpy however if you style it properly, it can look very classy and ladylike.  Click READ MORE to find out tips on how to wear a midi skirt!
