Get 50% off everything at Ann Taylor with code: SHOP50 – ends Monday night. Here are some things I’ve tried on recently. I also included items from this post HERE and HERE since they’re still available and relevant.
If you love stripes, this striped top fits nicely and is very comfortable. The color is navy not black. It’s a cute and casual top for Summer and I love the fit. I’d pair it with white jeans/shorts and sandals. Would recommend. You can buy it HERE.
They didn’t have a 00p for me to try on so I tried on the 0p. Unfortunately 0p is too big but at least this gives you an idea of how it looks on. I like the soft pink seersucker print – so pretty for Summer. It even has pockets but unfortunately the material is very thin. I don’t remember it being lined but it says that it is online. It is a very easy and cute dress so maybe I’ll order a 00p and test it out. I like how you can wear a normal bra since the straps are thicker. Would recommend. You can buy it HERE.
I didn’t have a shirt to try on with this skirt so I grabbed whatever was in front of me. I obviously would not pair this top with this skirt. The skirt runs big however I do love the jacquard dots and cream color. Length is good and work appropriate. The skirt is fully lined and is well made. Would recommend. You can buy it HERE.
Skirt (00p)
I thought this skirt looked like it had potential. I adore the yellow eyelet but it didn’t look very flattering on me. It runs slightly big and made my waist look wider than it is.
Top (xxsp)
Not much to say about this top. Arms are tight and material is thin. Comes in four different colors. It was nothing to write home about. Just your average tee.
You know I love anything pink and was hoping this dress would work out. It runs slightly big. I love that it has pockets but the dress is unlined and is wrinkle prone. The paisley skirt is adorable and is a great Summer work skirt. It fits nicely and would recommend it. I love tie neck blouses but this one runs very large. Size down if you plan on getting it.
Dress (00p)
I love the fit but wasn’t a huge fan of the print. Would recommend if you like the floral print.
It’s hard for me to say no to stripes but this skirt also runs on the larger side. Didn’t care for the vertical and horizontal stripes together.
I’ve been looking for some easy wrap dresses and was hoping this one would work out but after a closer look, I realized the arm holes seem odd and stretched out. The dress is very comfortable but not loving the print. I think I’ll order the polka dot version instead. Fits nicely and the length is perfect for petites.

This is one of the very few items I’ve actually been somewhat impressed from Ann Taylor lately. The fit is boxy however it’s doable. See it on What Jess Wore here. I love that the sleeves are bracelet length on me (will be 3/4″ on longer armed gals). I like that it’s a classic piece that can be worn year after year. Would recommend. You can buy it HERE.
Lace shift dress (00p)
This dress is super pretty and I love the bright color. I have it clipped back so the actual fit is a shift style. It’s a looser, straighter cut. It could work if you are one size up from me. Length is good, dress is fully lined (except for sleeves). Pair it with a cardigan or blazer for work or dress it up for a Summer wedding. Has potential and would recommend. You can buy it HERE.
Here are my other sale picks:
– dot wrap dress (ordering)
– city shorts (several colors)
– pebbled signature tote (have an love)
– floral jacquard pencil skirt (so pretty)
– pearlized crystal statement necklace (have and love)
– coral sheath dress (love the color)
Happy shopping! XO
The paisley skirt looks quite cute indeed, it will be great for the office!

I go to see every day some websites and websites to read posts, but this
web site provides quality based articles.
I visited various blogs except the audio quality for audio songs present at this site is in fact fabulous.
What’s up colleagues, its fantastic paragraph about
cultureand completely explained, keep it up all the time.
Hey there would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re
using? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most.
Can you recommend a good internet hosting provider at a honest price?
Cheers, I appreciate it!
Today, I went to the beach front with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said
“You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put
the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I
had to tell someone!
Hey! Would you mind if I share your blog with my myspace group?
There’s a lot of folks that I think would really appreciate your content.
Please let me know. Thanks
