I told myself I would stay away from buying more ALDO shoes but I just happen to stumble on these brown leather pumps . When I got them the other day, I was pretty disappointed that they look worn and tweeted about and realized it was more than likely a floor model- which totally irks me why they always have size 5 as the floor model. As if we don’t get punished enough:) I was going to return them even though they were on major sale for $34.99 when I realized my latest tiny belt that I bought at H & M matched it quite nicely! So I wanted to see if I could put something together.
Top: LOFT tech blooms shell- size XXSP (buy here and XXSP is still avail online and in stores)
Sweater: LOFT cardigan – size XXSP (buy here)
Belt: H & M brown genuine leather belt- size XS
Skirt: Bebe Cream Skirt – size 0
Shoes: Aldo Brown Pumps- size 5/35 (on sale here)
Aldo shoes are not the greatest quality but sometimes the deals are really hard to pass up. If you a true size 5, Aldo size 5/35’s are really inconsistent. Luckily these fit pretty well. A little slippage but I can deal with it for this price. I have always wanted a color similar to this so when I found it online for this price, my fingers couldn’t click order fast enough. I also ordered these grey pumps (on clearance) and a pair of black patent pumps (also on clearance) that I can beat on when I don’t want to wear my Louboutin’s. I know it’s Fall/Winter and obviously this cream skirt would not work for this season but for the sake of this post, I had nothing else!
I sure am getting a lot of use out of this LOFT cardigan! I love it! I so wish I could find it in other colors. It fits really nicely.
This LOFT tech bloom shell is pretty big on me even in an XXSP but I am in desperate need of shells so I figured I can get some wear out of it. I am not a floral/print fan but this one is decent. It’s still avail online in XXSP which means it wasn’t a big hit…but I like it! You have to wear something over it because it’s too big to wear alone.
This belt is TINY TINY! I have 2 more holes left if I need it and there is no additional material. And it’s genuine leather. It was a little spendy- $24.95 but I guess you have to pay the price for real leather. I love finding XS belts at H & M because they truly are XS and fits petites! I love how it’s braided in the back and the front is smooth with a cute buckle. Love it!!!
I must be obsessed with belts and scarves this year because I can’t stop buying them! I just bought this Forever 21 grey skinny belt in XS for $3.50 (hopefully it won’t break after one day)
Just FYI- the heel on this is much lower than my other punps which is kind of nice for a change. I don’t feel like I am walking on stilts.
I am trying to hide my terrible snorkel gash/scar because it is so ugly so bear with me when I cross my legs:(
Below is a close-up of the belt and shoes. It’s not an exact color match but it looks like it when you have both on. The color is definitely something I don’t have and is nice to change it up from nude pumps.
I also bought this 00p candy striped ruffle long sleeve shirt in dark steel from Banana Republic on my quick shopping venture on Sunday. In stores it’s cheaper than online $23.99 plus 25% off, so total came out to be around $17. Not sure if it will work but thought I’d give it a shot.
I am partially excited for all the sales for this coming weekend but not so excited for all the chaos that comes with it. I am hoping to go shopping and can’t wait to see what everyone gets!

I do like the shoes. I bought the exact same ones for my sister for Christmas. You can't really beat the price for a pair of real leather shoes. I am glad they fit you because my sister is also wearing size 5 in shoes. I guess I have to wait until Christmas to find out if they fit or not 🙂

i agree that Aldo shoes are pretty inconsistent. i almost always have to add heel inserts and some shoes i have to add an insole to the front too. great finds though!

I have those exact pumps and I couldn't love them enough. The heel is perfect for work and I love wearing them with skinny jeans on the weekend. My favorite part is the almond toe 🙂
