Ever since I sold my Ann Taylor red lady bag in 2011 (see here), I’ve needed to fill a this void for a cherry red handbag. I considered several different red bags including the Louis Vuitton Alma in Epi leather (see here). It was $400 more minus the longer strap and there was no incentive for me. I picked up this gardener tote during the Neiman Marcus gift promotion. I debated on all the different sizes and styles and finally decided that this was the perfect size for me. It’s similar in size to my blush YSL Cabas Chyc mini (see review here). I’m still coveting this bicolor dome bag in pomice/argillas and the east/west double handle tote in gray.

Now my craving for a red handbag has been fulfilled. On another note, I’m so excited about the J.Crew scalloped dress (now avail in petites). I couldn’t decided which colors so I ordered all three to try. Many ladies said that the regular version runs big so let’s hope that’s not the case for petite sizing. I love this outfit Annie! The peplum polkadot top is so pretty and so is the red Prada for a pop of color. It’s the perfect size on you and I also like the dome shaped one in your wishlist. The gray/argilla color is the one I would get for myself if I were seriously considering one. 🙂
I’ll let you know how the petite scalloped dresses fit tomorrow. Can’t wait! I really wish they carried petites in stores and it’s probably why I shop at J.Crew the least.
