I’ve been looking for a pair of distressed jeans for quite some time now. I even attempted to make my own with a pair from some denim that WhatJessWore gave me (see here). My sister found these for me at Saks Outlet during my visit home. She has a collection of AG jeans like I’ve never seen before.  They were on sale plus I had a rewards card.  I’ve been hooked on AG Jeans since my first white pair (Stilt Roll-Up Cigarette Leg Jeans) from Macy’s I scored for $60 (see here and here).  AG Jeans also has a petite line (boot cut or leggings) which my sister highly recommends. The hem is much shorter than the regular jeans so no hemming required.

These have the perfect amount of distressing to them and fit really well. The hem is too long so I have it cuffed three times.  It’s a bit too thick but I don’t want to spend the money tailoring them (just yet). I’m not 100% sure what wash/color these are but these are the closest I could find online.  See me trying them on here with pink neon pumps.

I decided to keep these Guess polkadot pumps. They fit true to size and couldn’t resist how adorable they are. I like that they are a neutral color and I can pair them easily.  The heel height is a bit high for me and wish they were 3.5″ instead of 4″.

I finally went through all my food pics from my visit home and wanted to share some. These are from a favorite Chinese restaurant of mine.  It’s always a special treat when I get to go. I usually leave with a very round belly:)

Looking at these food pics is making me salivate. Lol! I miss my family so much and wish I lived closer. I hope to visit them again soon.

  1. I don’t particularly dig the polka dot pumps, but I do approve of the rest of the outfit. I probably would have liked some animal print pumps or some high-heel sandals better with these jeans than those polka dot pumps. It is still a good look to me.

  2. I love this outfit Annie! The top you found while you were home is so adorable and I love the distressed pair of AG jeans you found as well. I think your white pair looks fine cuffed but it may be worth it to hem this pair. Just my opinion. 🙂 The polka dot pumps by Guess are very cute and I think I would have been all over them if they were round/almond toe although 4″ is too high for me too.

The food pics look so good! The hollow vegetables have been referred to as Chinese water spinach at the restaurant I frequent here. They’re one of my favorite vegetables to order as well as pea pod stems. I hope you see your family again soon! It took me a long time to truly appreciate the time I spend with my family and I’m glad I go back to see them much more often now.

    • I agree with you about taking up the hem. I’ll have to wait until I’m ready to shell out $25 for an original hem on top of the hefty price tag of these jeans. Lol
I hope I get to go home once before the end of the year – miss them so much. I’m craving that restaurant again. Thanks for the info on the hollow vegetables 🙂

      • I don’t blame you for waiting to take it to the tailor. I hate shelling out even more money to get things hemmed and shortened so I usually don’t get it or return if that’s the case. I had actually hemmed the RL pair (with orig hem) that you distressed. Wasn’t that money well spent? lol 😉
