Happy May 1st!  I can’t believe the year is almost half over.  Honestly, where does the time even go?  I wore this outfit to work back in March – see here (original length here and last worn here). This H&M Trend mint polkadot skirt has been one of my favorite purchases from last year. It fits me like a glove and I love the thicker material and texture.  I haven’t seen anything like it since it came out and hope they bring it back in different colors.

If you are obsessed with polkadots like I am, this skirt here and here are on currently on my wish list.  I hope they fit as well as my white textured cotton pencil skirt (highly recommend).  I also have my eye on this cotton boucle cardigan jacket in lime sorbet. I hope Ann Taylor has a sale soon!

You know how I’ve been coveting a white/cream a-line dress? The Modcloth The Perfect Thatch Dress in cream finally became available yesterday (from this post) and I quickly placed my order. The smallest size was a UK 8 which is supposed to be equivalent to a US 2. I’m hoping that it runs small.

I also ordered these Mari sandals in portebello mushroom to try. I returned last years version in hot pink and have since regretted returning them:( J.Crew changed the ankle strap this year and I like it much better.

FYI – my Ann Taylor polkadot cropped pants arrived and I love them. Stay tuned for the review.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great week! 🙂

  1. I remember the first time you posted this outfit on IG. It’s very pretty neutral outfit and I love your polka dot pencil skirt so much. The polka dots make it so much fun and the Vara mini bow bag goes perfectly with your ensemble. I hope the Perfect Thatch dress fits you. Please keep us posted! 🙂

  2. I have to say that this is the first time I never red your blog and I´m totally in love with it ! You have such a good taste ! (And I adore the skirt) I´m glad that there is still someone who likes to wear conservative clothes. Sorry if I misspelled something, I speak Finnish IRL 🙂

  3. Hi dear, you look fabulous in this dress. I stumbled upon your blog while searching for something else, AND I CANNOT CHOOSE ONE LOOK/POST THAT IS MY FAVOURITE, BECAUSE ALL OF THEM ARE.

I loved the mint polka-dots on the skirt and it’s length is just so right. Loved the way you paired brown shoes with the dress, and how red base in the shoes is adding a subtle hint of vibrant color to the dress which is basically only whites and pastels…

I wanted to have a glimpse of how you accessorized your right hand (since I also wear a watch in my left hand), but that is not very much visible…. But yes, slight look of the bangles/bracelet tells, it must be beautiful.

Keep up the great work & stay stylish.
