This outfit is everything!  It has all my favorite things – mustard, stripes and plaid.  This just screams fall doesn’t it?  I’m obsessed with this gorgeous mustard pleated skirt!  I love when an outfit makes you feel good.  It makes all the difference in the world and can make or break your day.  When you look good, you feel good.  Am I right?

You know it’s my duty to share pretty things, great deals and most definitely it’s my job to let you know when something is petite friendly.  Well…this skirt and top are both petite friendly!  ModCloth has so many cute fall and winter clothes.  I’ve been scoring tons of great items lately.  Here are some of my favorites:

ModCloth Fall/Winter Favorites

I need this plaid skirt in my life immediately!  It’s so perfect for the holiday’s!

Striped long sleeve dress (c/o size small) // c/o mustard cowl neck scarf

How cute is this striped dress?  I paired it with a cozy mustard cowl neck scarf and once the weather gets cooler, add some knee high brown boots and you have the perfect fall outfit!

This striped top and mustard skirt pair so perfectly together, you’d think they were made for each other.  It reminds me of THIS DRESS that I posted on social media and it sold out almost immediately.  I like the fact that this outfit is two separate pieces so you can mix and match with other items in your closet. The striped top runs small (I’m wearing xs) which is great for petite gals.  Anytime I read reviews and everyone says it runs small, I usually rejoice (lol).  It is not as short as everyone says it is – it’s the perfect length on me.  I’ll be able to wear it with jeans and pants untucked.  I adore the elbow sleeves and I’m so happy it’s not low cut.

If you love pleats and mustard, then you need this midi skirt in your life.  Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing size XS.  It has an elasticized waist which is great if you have a small waist or in-between sizes.  I like to wear my midi skirts high on my waist because then it accentuates your curves making your waist look super small.  Skirts with belt loops are always a bonus and this one comes with the braided belt.  Guess what the best part is?  Yes you guessed it – pockets!

Don’t you love the colors of this plaid scarf?  It pairs with so many of my outfits and I love that you can wear it as a shawl.  Here are some other scarves to choose from:

Plaid Scarves

I have this cozy plaid shawl and this blanket scarf and would recommend both!
