There is no denying my love for flamingos and this skirt is the cutest skirt EVER. I’ve had it in my closet for a long time and now just now getting around to wearing it. Is it not the most adorable print? What could be better than flamingos on top of stripes? It just makes me happy and I love wearing things that make me smile.
I debated on taking up the hem but didn’t want to get rid of too many flamingos on the bottom (lol). I may consider it later down the road but for now, I’ll keep it and wear it high on my waist. The hem goes past my comfort zone for midi skirts however I think I can get away with it.
Sizing runs true to size. The waist measures 12.5″ across and the total length is 28″. The skirt has a lot of fabric but it drapes nicely. I didn’t realize it had pockets until after I wore it (*slaps forehead*) which makes me love it even more now! So let’s see…flamingos and stripes, has pockets and under $50? Sold!

I love classic styles and pieces but sometimes you just need something fun in your closet. This outfit goes to show that you fashion doesn’t have to be plain or boring and you can still look modest and stylish at the same time. I got SO many compliments when I wore this – it was crazy! 🙂
