Here are some weekend sales going on that’s worth checking out. Get 40% off pants, shorts and skirts at Ann Taylor with code: SHOP40. I’m loving this seersucker paper bag skirt (also comes in chambray linen), this flounce tank and this paradise maxi dress (nursing friendly). I just ordered this floral print wrap dress – looks promising and under $55! Apparently I’ve been into floral prints lately because I also just ordered this printed cold shoulder dress. Both look petite friendly so we shall see. Loft is having 50% off dresses, tees and tanks (no code needed). Banana Republic is having 40% off select women’s styles – loving so many pieces from their sophisticated summer collection. Make sure to check THIS POST out!

Top: c/o Banana Republic scalloped shirt (size XXSP) | Shoes: Marc Fisher adalyne wedge sandals
Purse: Mar y sol woven straw tote | Shorts: J.Crew tie waist shorts (size 00)
I’m still breastfeeding so finding cute tops that are nursing friendly is NOT easy. This scalloped shirt was an obvious choice for me. Banana Republic shirts always fits nicely without any alterations. These J.Crew tie waist shorts were a HUGE disappointment. I fell in love with them online however when they arrived, I was so bummed. They run very big and the inseam is way too long for petite gals. I wish it was offered in petites. The material is very wrinkly prone and just did NOT look right. I couldn’t even post a pic – they were that bad.
Dress: c/o Trinity palm print dress (size small) | Shoes: BP. Luminate blush sandals
Purse: JADEtribe pom pom basket bag | Necklace: Loft crystal round necklace (similar HERE) | Nail polish: Acquarella (similar HERE)
I love thisTrinity palm print dress but it I had to slim the waist and sides. I was happy the sleeves weren’t too long because I’m not sure you can alter bell sleeves (can you?). The hem hits me right at the knees – great length for petites and very classy. The colors are so pretty and the palm print is perfect for summer. I want to point out that it’s a thinner material and the quality is OK – not bad for under $46.

Just a small update on my FIL. He’s still in the hospital and it’s been almost a month since his heart attack. 🙁 We had recently had some setbacks but he’s on the mend. It’s been a very long month and we’re hoping to bring him home soon. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. 🙂 XO
