Make sure to check out my first round of reviews HERE the second batch of reviews HERE.
Leith wrap front sweater – I love wrap front sweaters and this one is so pretty! The color is the perfect neutral. I adore the slouchy silhouette however the sleeves are too long for me. Sizing runs true to size. You can layer this with a simple tank or a lace trim cami peeking out. Great for fall and even chilly summer nights.
Steve Madden Gabbie thigh high boots (sale $86.90, after sale $129.95) – These boots are amazing! I wasn’t expecting to like or keep them but after trying them on with some outfits, I love them. I wanted some OTK boots in this color and you can’t beat the price. They are super easy to put on and take off which is a huge plus for me. The 2″ heel is perfect for walking. The calf circumference runs very small but has some stretch. It’s definitely snug when worn over jeans. I have yet to try them on bare legs. This works great for small calves and petite gals. I wore them around the house for awhile and they didn’t seem to fall down like most OTK boots. The shaft height is 22.5″ which is perfect for gals with short legs! They go well above my knee and not too far up on my thighs. As a reference, they are a 1.5″ shorter than my Stuart Weitzman Highland boots (also on sale). Love and would recommend – also comes in black.
BP. Tale 2 slides (sale $49.90, after sale $79.95) – I LOVE these slides so much! They are very comfortable and the price is fantastic. Sizing runs small (about 1/2 size) so I’d recommend sizing up. I took my normal size 5 and they fit perfectly. Comes in three colors and the suede is very soft. Love and would recommend!
Caslon zip back pullover (sale $59.90, after sale $89) – This pullover is very soft and comfortable. It’s like a turtleneck and poncho had a baby (lol). The material has a fleecy softness – will be super cozy for cooler fall temperatures. Available in regular/petite sizes and comes in four different colors. The only thing I’m torn about is the zipper in the back – not loving that part. The sale price is still a bit much for something so basic but if you wear it enough, then it’s worth it.
Stuart Weitzman Highland OTK boots in topo suede (sale $478.80, after sale $798) – This is a GREAT deal and has been re-stocked. I paid full price a couple years ago so get it while you can! See it on me HERE, HERE and HERE. Great for petite gals and small calves – would highly recommend! Yes it does live up to all the hype!
Caslon hooded cardigan (sale $52.90) – I almost didn’t even try this on because it didn’t look like anything special straight out of the packaging. I was pleasantly surprised at how adorable it is! Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing XXSP. Everything fits great except the sleeves are too long. I have them cuffed up which is no big deal for me. I love the cinch waist – gives it a little shape. This is one of those items I know I will wear a lot. Love and would recommend!
Sam Edelman Tia calf hair pumps (sale $89.90, after sale $139.95) – You know I love leopard shoes and wear them all the time so I was excited to add another pair to my collection. These have potential however the ankle straps are very loose. I had them on the last hole and they still were too big. By no means do I have skinny ankles so not sure what the deal is. I like the lower 3″ heel but the half d’Orsay silhouette doesn’t look good on me (I have slightly wide feet).
Halogen scarlett over the knee boots (sale $119.90, after sale $189.95) – I was hopeful these would work out but unfortunately the material is not as nice as most Halogen boots. I was a bit shocked since I’m a huge fan of this brand. The shaft height is great and the calf circumference is decent. It’s doable but could be a bit more snug in the thigh area.. The lower heel is exactly what I was looking for but just not feeling it. I couldn’t justify the price based on the cheaper material.
Pleione tiered bell sleeve knit top (sale $42.90, after sale $65, XXSP) – Give me all the ruffle sleeves! I was really excited about this top but runs a bit big. I’m wearing XXSP and it’s pretty wide and as you can see above, the shoulder seams are way off. This is an adorable top but unfortunately it’s didn’t fit. I’d recommend sizing down if you plan on getting it.
Halogen scallop edge sweater – As soon as I saw this in the pre-sale catalog, I knew I had to have it. I got it in pink, white and yellow (lol). You know I have mad love for any scalloped pieces so there is no question how much I love this sweater. Sizing runs true to size. The material is very soft and thick – no thin/flimsy. Well made and just plain adorable. Love and would recommend.
This is the same cardigan as the pink one seen HERE. The material is incredibly soft. I almost like it better than my long linen blend cardigan. These Cole Haan heidy leopard flats are a no go for me. I like them but sizing runs big.
I’ll try the sweater and booties on tomorrow and give you my thoughts 🙂
