Loft sizing is usually hit or miss for me however I love their blouses. The mustard version of this box pleat blouse from 2012 (see here) is one of my favorites.  I’m happy they brought it back in a polka dot print (see review here).  I’m hoping that they bring back the solid colors in petites (regular version here).

There are some adorable new arrivals that just recently hit online that I am anxiously awaiting a sale for:
LOFTnewarrivals
Tiered ruffle shell (cocoa sand), Pleated tie neck shell (lemon curry), Pleat front tee blouse (fiery red, thanks Jess for pointing out)
Loft Cotton Canvas Utility Jacket
If you missed out on my Forever 21 utitlity jacket (see here), this one looks promising.  Some other items that I have my eye on are: seamed tweed skirt, dot print pleated skirt,  yarn dye stripe stretch ponte skirt. I’ve also had a leopard pencil skirt on my wish list  and curious to see how this one looks in person.  I have yet to find the perfect one.

This blouse is very comfortable and soft on the skin. It almost feels like silk but way easier to care for.  I adore the front pleats and the blouse can be easily transitioned into Fall.

The fit is boxy and blous-y yet I don’t mind it.  The 3/4″ sleeves are great for ladies with short arms (like me).  If you have longer arms, you may want to consider trying out the regular version.Loft Dip Dot Print Pleat Blouse13
If you’re looking for a similar green ponte skirt (see old posts here and here), this one from Banana Republic seems promising.  You wouldn’t think you could pair this color green easily but surprisingly, it’s very versatile!

  1. you are looking amazing and so beautiful! love the outfit and the polka dots blouse! I also like how the blouse goes with the green skirt!

  2. cute! this gives me an idea of how to mix the green skirts and polka dots that i have in my closet. thanks!

  3. You’re on a rolI because I adore this outfit too! I really like your smile in the second picture where you look back. <3 The polka dot top looks so chic with the green pencil skirt (too bad the skirt isn't not from this year). I'm about done waiting for LOFT to have a sale because I really, really want that pleated top! It's so cute on you and when I tried on the regular size in stores I'm guessing I can fit the XXS. FYI. The Yarn Dye Stripe Stretch Ponte Skirt is unlined so it may show bumps from clothing you tuck underneath. I tried it on in regular XS. I comes in solid black too I believe.

    • Lol thanks Jess! I hope you get this top soon! I’m getting pretty impatient too waiting for a sale – we both have so much in our cart! Lol
Good to know about the yarn dye skirt – I’ll check that off my wish list:)

  4. Can you pretty please show us multiple looks that you can do with this top? I just got it today and I kind of don’t really know how to wear it 🙂

  5. This design is steller! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my
own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what
you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too
    cool!

  6. Hi there, yup this post is in fact nice and I have learned lot of things
    from it about blogging. thanks.
